2024 3-D Ornament of the month collection

Keeping things simple this year, you will only need size 11 Delicas, Fireline 4 lb test, a few seed beads to make hanging loops for the completed ornaments and a clear plastic report cover.

Start by stitching an easy even-count Peyote band that will also make an adorable bracelet if you are not in an ornament frame of mind.

 Next stitch a flat ornament with slot openings using Brick Stitch OR Peyote stitch - your choice!!  stitch lessons included!

Here comes the magic……pass the peyote band through the slots on the Ornament Base and join the Peyote ends into a circle. Cut 2 strips of clear plastic and with 2 simple folds make a “D” shape unit (like a curved book of matches) that slips behind the Peyote band -one on either side- creating a lovely and unique 3-dimensional ornament. Slide the plastic units out to store the ornament flat or to mail as gifts.
